How do I use a metronome to practice the drums?
I do not have a drum kit, but I want to start practicing what I do, can.How I make the best use of a metronome? stampers that I operate, so i beat with what I can do with a metronome?
I suggest learn to play Paradiddle and models in different time signatures. What you can do with the metronome is to choose something hard to play and try to play at the right speed, so that it is played at 140 BPM, if you can not play well to gain speed it back down to say 50 bpm and see if you can play well at that speed, then slowly work your way back until, finally, you should be able to play the piece perfectly drive as fast as expected. That is generally how I use the metronome practical things, although I play the guitar. I hope this helps you in your quest to play the drums: D
